Multiple trim

September 23, 2011 2011 command trim_m

Digi3D 2011 includes a command that lets you trim multiple entities using a boundary line. This command, called TRIM_M and available from Edit/Polylines/Cut multiple lines where they cross another line, will save you a lot of time when you need to trim multiple entities that intersect a boundary line. It is an evolution of the TRIM command. Instead of asking you to select the entities to trim one at a time, it waits for you to digitize a virtual line. Once you finish this virtual line, all lines that intersect it will be trimmed. As a picture is worth a thousand words, below is a video that demonstrates this new functionality.
