Replace a geometry with text from a database field
The shapefile files do not have text geometries, basically they have points, lines, polylines, polygons, multi-geometries all in 2D and in 3D, but no texts.
What each geometry can have is associated with a record in a database (file with extension .DBF) in which you can add the information you want in text mode.
The Spanish Cadastre Shapefile files store texts with two-vertical 2D lines, which define the origin and orientation of the text, and the text is stored in a specific database field.
We have in the code table of Digi3D the possibility of replacing geometries by texts stored in a certain database field so that the program shows the texts instead of lines.
