Populating an Access database with the schema specified in a code table
We have added to the Code Table Editor the possibility of filling an empty Access database with the definition of the tables specified in the Database tab. In addition, the CATDBS table is created and filled with the necessary information so that Digi3D.NET can use that database to add alphanumeric information. Follow the steps below to perform this task:
- Create an empty Access database with Access (.mdb extension).
- Load a code table that has a schema into the Code Table Editor program, or add tables in the Database tab of the code table.
- Select the menu item DATABASE/Create tables in an empty Access database...
- Select the empty database you created in the first step.
- Press the Open button
And you got it. You can see in the following video how we populate a database with many tables. [youtube:http://youtu.be/zlJq2ex4I-w]
