Drawing file projects
Digi3D 2011 allows you to store drawing file configurations (display scale, recording increment, code table, menu table, key configuration file, ...) to avoid the user having to fill in that information when loading a drawing file. This feature is very useful to prevent the user from making mistakes when loading the drawing file, as the administrator will have stored the different configurations on the computer before the user starts working with a new project. To enable this option, we have to enter the menu Tools/Configuration and select the option Use project files that we can find in the group Communication with the user. Once this option is enabled, Digi3D will not ask you for capture parameters on the Drawing file tab of the New project dialog box. Instead, it will display an options box where you can select the configuration to use when loading the drawing file. To create a new configuration, just select the option Tools/Configure projects... and create a new configuration. Below you have a video that shows this new functionality.
