Selected entity properties pane
We just added to Digi3D.NET a new pane that will help you digitize geometries with database information. This pane (which can be displayed via the menu item Window/Properties of selected entity) displays the code or codes of the entity you just selected (regardless of the reason for the selection) and its associated database information. We will use it to quickly see the database attributes that a given entity has. Does not show a history of codes of selected entities like the snap pane, but always shows the codes of the last entity selected. If the entity has a single code, it will show you in the top list only that code. If the entity has more than one code, it will show you in the top list all its codes. If you select a code (by default Digi3D.NET will automatically select for you the first code of the entity according to the attempts/selected), and this code has a database link, the values of the fields stored in the database for the record to which the code points will be displayed at the bottom, this is only true if you are connected to a database. How do I connect to a database? If you are working with a .bin or .bind drawing file, fill in the fields Data model and Connection String in the Drawing file tab of the New project dialog box. If you are working with Shapefile files or with Geomedia files, you will not have to do anything, for the mere fact of uploading files, you already have its database associated. You can see this new bread in the following video:
