Show contour interval
Digi3D 2011 incorporates a new functionality that will help us increase the production when digitizing contour lines. It consists of a new command that, when activated, shows both in the photogrammetric window and in the drawing window an animation indicating why part of a given line must cross the contour line that is being digitized. The objective of this command is for the operator to make an approximation to the line in question appropriate to the shape of the contour line, and to avoid having to use the search mode 12 (although this system is not at all incompatible with the search mode 12). There are actually two commands: one to configure the parameters (which are none other than the allowed tolerance and the codes of the lines on which we want to see the animation). A button has been added to the toolbar Snap that allows to activate and deactivate this functionality as well as a drop-down menu that allows us to configure the parameters mentioned above. If you want to run these two commands manually (in a macro file for example), here are the commands:
| Name | Parameters | Description |
| configuration_show_step_curves | [tolerance] [code1]..[codeN] This command supports tags, so if we have several codes grouped with the tag #Paths, we can put #Paths and the command will take into account all these codes. | Allows you to specify the tolerance (which defines the width of the animation) and the codes of the lines to be analyzed and on which animations will be displayed. |
| show_step_curves | * No parameters change from on/off * =1 On * =0 Off | Enables/Disables the display of animations. |
This tool only works if the following scenarios are true:
- We have opened a photogrammetry model.
- We have opened a drawing file.
- We have blocked the Z of the photogrammetric window FIXZ=1
- We have activated the command SHOW_CONTOUR_PASS
