EGM2008 geoid model

Digi3D.NET can transform altitudes from ellipsoidal coordinates to orthometric coordinates using the geoid models EGM96 that is global, EGM2008 that is also global and using the geoid model EGM08-REDNAP particularized for Spain. The installer of Digi3D.NET incorporates the geoid models EGM96 and EGM08-REDNAP because these files weigh little and do not increase much the size of the installer. The global geoid model EGM2008 is not included in the installer as they are actually two grids, one with a weight of approximately 1Gb (providing data every second) and another with a weight of approximately 100Mb (providing information every 2.5 seconds). These files are essential to be able to use the EGM2008 geoid model, so we have created an installer that installs the grid files in their corresponding location. You can access the installer on our page via http://www.digi21.net through the menu option Downloads/Digi3D.NET/EGM2008 geoid model. The installer basically copies the two files (which you can manually download from the official site) into the %ProgramData%\Digi3D.NET\OpenGis folder. If you manually copy these files, you have to unzip them, as they are provided with the extension .gz and Digi3D.NET requires them to be unzipped.
