Improvements when loading Geomedia and Shapefile drawing files
We just added to Digi3D.NET an improvement that can increase your productivity when working with drawing files of Geomedia or Shapefiles: The ability to specify the tables to load. Sometimes you want to load a certain table, and not all that has the database (here I am considering that if you are working with Shapefiles, the folder where these are is a database itself, whose tables are the .dbf files located in that folder, in case of working with Geomedia it is easier to understand since the tables are inside a .mdb file of Microsoft Access that is itself a database). Until now you could not do that, and when you loaded a Geomedia file or a folder with Shapefiles the program loaded all the tables it found. From now on, before loading any geometry, the tables are analyzed and the user is shown a dialog box asking him for the tables that he wants to load. In this dialog box, both the names of the tables and a value that indicates the number of geometries that the table has are shown. The user can activate or deactivate the loading of a specific table, and the dialog box also allows to deactivate all tables or activate all tables with a single click. Once we accept the dialog box, the program loads only the tables that we have indicated. If you do not want to see this dialog box, you can disable this behavior using the menu option Tools/Configuration, locating the sections Geomedia Datawarehouse File Importer/Exporter/Prompt for layers to load or Shapefile File Importer/Exporter/Prompt for layers to load. The default option for these two configurations is Yes, but if you change it to No the program will behave as usual and load everything it finds without asking.
