Earn money by renting out your code tables
We have been adding features to the code tables for about a year, and thanks to these we can fully customize the working experience with Digi3D.NET such as:
- Modify the user interface of Digi3D.NET.
- Create programs that run every time a particular geometry is stored to display errors to operators.
- Create voice commands to control the program without keyboard or mouse.
- Specify database schemas.
- Specify translation parameters to different file formats.
- etc.
Thanks to these functionalities, code tables can be prepared that allow us to carry out mappings such as B.T.A.,, M.G.C.P, and that include semantic models that indicate in real time to the operator if he has committed any concept error.
Creating these tables takes time, and you probably don't want the effort made to create them to reach everyone, so today we introduce the possibility of creating packages of encrypted code tables.
From today you have a new option in the program Code table editor, accessible through the menu option File/Create encrypted code table package.
When you select this option, the program displays the dialog box Create package of encrypted code tables that asks you to enter the password with which you want to encrypt the code table and on the other hand the dongles to which you want to grant permission, as well as a maximum date of access to the table for each of the dongles, so you can make your key for example no date limit, but a certain key can use the table up to three months. In this way you can rent the code table to a company. Just enter the KeyIDs of their dongles and assign a maximum date of use.
Security:
We have incorporated the following security mechanisms to ensure that no one can export your valuable code table, which we show you here.
The Code Table Editor can generate encrypted code tables, but it cannot open them, even on computers that are licensed to open them, because otherwise anyone with a license could export them into a new unlicensed file.
If you try to open an encrypted code table with the Code Table Editor, it will display the following error message:
If we try to open with Digi3D.NET an encrypted table for which we have no license, it will be communicated to the user through the following dialog box:
If we try to load a table for which we have a license, but the maximum date of use has already been exceeded, the program will show us the following error message:
Below we show you a video explaining all these features
