Entities of interest
Today we introduce a new functionality in Digi3D.NET that will allow you to increase your productivity: Entities of interest. From now on the entities can be in two states: In the zone of interest or in the zone of non-interest. By default All entities that we digitize and that we load from a drawing file are of interest.Only will cease to be of interest indicate specifically which are the ones we want to be of interest. To do this, we have a new command: SELECCIONA_ENTIDADES_DE_INTERES that you can select using the Edit/Select entities of interest menu option. The entities that you select after executing this command will be the entities of interest, and those that you do not select will become entities of no interest. Digi3D.NET shows the entities that are not of interest with their colors and pattern and fill, but with a transparency factor so that you see them graphically but so that you know that they are not of interest and that therefore it is as if they were not there. In fact, even if you see them, you will not be able to do anything with them: neither select them, nor tentative them, nor delete them not modify them with absolutely no command from Digi3D.NET. It is as if they were not there. In this way, if we are performing for example a topology on a zone of a model, the topological tools will focus only on the entities that we have in the zone of interest, so that topological errors of entities that are outside the zone of interest will not be shown. The command SELECCIONA_ENTIDADES_DE_INTERES We can select them using any of the multiple selection commands available in the program:
- SELECT_LAST
- SELECT_WINDOW
- SELECT_LINE
- SELECT_MULTIPLE
- SELECT_EVERYTHING_CURSOR
- SELECT_ALL
- SELECT_COD
- SELECT_POLYGON
- SELECT_INSIDE_POLYGON
- SELECT_OUTSIDE_POLYGON
- SELECT_INSIDE_WINDOW
- SELECT_OUTSIDE_WINDOW
So if we want all the entities of the file that cross with a line to be in the area of interest, we only have to execute the commands: ZONA_DE_INTERES SELECT_LINE The new entities we generate will always be in the area of interest. You can see this feature in action in the following video:
