Code checks at matching edges

March 7, 2023 Quality control edge checks edge matching checks

Digi3D.NET 2023 has a tool that will allow you to automatically detect lines of a drawing file that continue in another drawing file, but with other code or with other database attributes or with other geometry attributes.

If a line has path axis code and in the file next to it it continues as a path edge, it seems that there was a mistake when selecting the code in one of the two files, and the path axis code in the file next to it continues as a path edge, it seems that there was a mistake when selecting the code in one of the files.

If we are working with databases, it is possible that both lines have the same code, but their database attributes are different. If for example a road axis line has the attribute "Number of lanes" with the value 2 and in the following file it has 4, it may not be an error, but it would be good to have a tool to detect it.

To solve all this, we have developed the command: DETECT_LINE_CONTINUITY_ERRORS_CASES that you can see in action in the video below.
